Meet Marybeth Mullaney

A graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1993, she is licensed to practice in both South Carolina and New York. She began her legal career as a public defender at the Legal Aid Society in New York City, where she developed a deep commitment to advocating for those without power or privilege.

In 2007, she continued that mission as an Assistant Public Defender in Charleston County, where she was awarded the title of Statewide Public Defender of the Year in 2009.
