Folly Beach Taco Boy barback asked HR to protect her from harassment, then was fired, lawsuit says

FOLLY BEACH — Taco Boy’s parent company failed to protect a barback from a bouncer’s harassment and fired her after she asked that her alleged rapist be kept off the restaurant’s property while she worked, according to a new lawsuit.

These actions breached the former employee’s civil rights, the lawsuit filed in Charleston County court on July 25 states. It accuses All Good Industries LLC of violating the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Both federal laws prohibit discrimination.
